Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll On Kit Review

Hellooo :)

A few weeks ago I was kindly sent the New Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll-On Kit to try out! Since I'm going on holiday tomorrow (eeeeeeeeek major excited) I have taken this opportunity to try out the kit so my legs can be silky smooth for my bikini sessions! Also pinching my partners parents internet to post to you today since my internet is STILL not set up in my new home :( Think of all the posts I'll be adding when I'm back up and running!

Anyway..... On with the reason we're here!

I'm not new to waxing since I used to work in a beauty salon. I'm aware it can be pretty painful and time consuming which is why I don't often do it at home... However I put all that aside to give this a try.

Upon arrival of this little kit I was super giddy to try it as the concept sounded great!
-Basically, its a device which you set a wax cartridge into and plug into the wall to keep the heat of the wax at a suitable temperature. Set up is easy peasy, I left the kit plugged in for 20 minutes whilst I nipped in the shower.

I set a towel out on the floor so as I didn't drip any wax anywhere which is what I've experienced with waxing in the past, but what on earth for? It didn't drip anywhere at all. The roller applicator determines the consistency of the wax being applied, which makes it pretty much the perfect amount every time. No more of this applying too thick or thin, or applying too much and wasting the wax. I found it really easy to roll on in an even line and easy peasy to wax off with the included wax strips. Great stuff yes? Once you get the hang of it you can get quite a speed going and I think with a bit of practice I'll have it down to a T! I didn't experience any tugging on my skin, the wax came off really easy every time (not without pain might I add, a bearable pain though).

First Impressions?
* Easy and even application
* It's even a funky bright pink colour
* The wax keeps at the perfect temperature so it's always easy to remove with the wax strips
* No tugging
* No bruising appeared afterwards
*Legs are left feeling silky smooth

Any Disappointments?
* It's quite difficult to apply to the knee area with the roll on :S
* The wire can often get in the way when it's plugged in constantly (however this can be resolved by unplugging it- This can be done for up to 15 minutes after the wax is fully heated)
* Leaves skin with a slightly red bumpy look (but doesn't all waxing- goes down within 24 hours)

Overall I'm very impressed with this little device and I will most certainly repurchase the cartridges in the future. I may even get really brave and try using the sensitive wax cartridge on my underarms and bikini line (yikes).

I would definitely recommend waxaholics among you to try it, it's also much less painful than epilating if you're brave enough to do so and I'm very pleased I've had the opportunity to give it a whirl!

  1. I got sent it too but really didn't rate it that much.. Was a lot of trial and error and in the end I had to leave it on about an hour until the wax was hot enough. 3rd time lucky maybe xx
